Characters:Waris Dirie and Waris dad and beautiful mum and her 11 sisters and brothers. These amazing people show passion and are really brave and stick up for themselves.

Plot: This story is about a little teenager girl running away from the sound of silent she didn't like at all. Waris mostly talked with her mum and toled her everything she wanted to do in the future. One night Waris mum woke her up in the middle of the night because when waris was a little girl she wanted to live with her Aunty far away from east Africa. That night she packed up all her stuff And kissed her mum on the cheek and started to run.

My opinion: This is an interesting book because it is about her life. There are some funny bits and some scary bits in her life story. I learned to stick up for myself  and show compassion. I don't need to feel lonley and weak.

I recommend this book because this book is a beautiful and a sad story. I think if you like sad and beautiful book like this one this is the right book for you.

Why Year 4s Should Go To Camp

Dear Ms Ritchie,

I've been watching your camp videos and my big sister Mischa told me all about it but i'm really disipointed that Year 4s can't go to camp.

I'ts not fair that only year 6s are allowed to go camp and get do a fashion shows,boggie boarding,rock climbing and Kayaking. As you will agree to let us ( year 4s) go to camp, plus gives us confidence to make our own decisions of life and also to be more Indepndent and be more away from your family and see what It's like to be with new rules and other stuff.

While others may disagree but please let us year 4s and maybe year 5s go to camp

Evil Professor Zap

Evil Professor Zap loves science that he will even say ‘ I’ll pay 1000 bucks for a new science lab’. Zap’s potions never works  how he wanted it to be.

His beard looks like the bottom of the hot boiling sun inside his eyes it looks like microscopic little fire balls. He has a ugly cackle and has zappy hair that looks like it just got struck by lightning.

Professor Zap acts like a evil hideous brat.

M-aori people beleives in the seven sisters.

A-nger came over Tawhinmatea as he made the seven sisters.

T-elling stories about the old past.

A-ncestors are very impotant they also tell stories about the past.

R-embering and hounouring those who have passed away.

I-wi's are very very Important to us.

K-ites are made to fly in the Mataiki sky at night.

I-n the dark sky you can see the lovely seven sisters.   

My Prediction

 I'have done a statistical Investigation to find what is the most popular animal. My prediction was that Tiger and Cheatah will be the most poplular and monkey will be the least the opitions were

My Prediction was wrong but Monkey was the least favourite animal by one vote but kitten got the most votes by 11 votes so we discovered that kitten was the most popular animal in Room 8.

How To Make Bouncy Balls

Ingredients

Step 1. First you have to get ready first you will need Cornstarch, Borax, hot or cold water, a plastic cup, a plastic bowl, a spoon ( a plastic spoon if you want don't want to dirty your spoons ) and Pva school glue. Secondly poor the hot or cold water in the plastic cup up to 1/2 the cup and add half a teen spoon of borax and cornstarch then get your plastic spoon or normal spoon and start mixing it.
